Easter Eggstravaganzas in Phoenix, Arizona
Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. This year, I was so excited for Easter (my sister is coming from Toronto)...so I just had to display my bunnies and eggs around the house this past week!
Aside from a family celebration, I found some Easter events that will get you and your kids out and about town hopping like bunnies!
Peoria Sports Complex: For years now the Peoria Sports Complex has hosted an Easter candy hunt for 8 different age groups, including one family hunt. The hunt takes place on April 23rd this year and admission to the Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunt is free when you contribute canned food to benefit the St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank Alliance (good times and helping out)! The event also features craft tables, carnival games, inflatables, pony rides, and more! Visit Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunts for more information.
Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek: Taking place April 23rd, the Easter Egg-Citment Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11am. Admission is $25 per child, but free for adults. This price includes a photo with the Easter Bunny, the hunt, train rides, carousel rides, hay rides, honeybee ride, the petting zoo, and a hot dog lunch with an Easter cookie. Reservations for this event can be made at Easter Egg-Citment at Schnepf Farms.
Surprise Recreation Campus: Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be there to celebrate the Spring Eggstravaganza on April 23rd from 9:30am-12pm. Admission to this event is free and includes an Easter egg hunt, face painting, inflatables, clowns, and more! Visit Surprise Spring Eggstravaganza for more information.
Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert: What better place to spend Easter than on the farm? April 22nd and 23rd Easter will take place at Mother Nature's Farm. Admission to this event is $7 per child and $3 per adult. The farm will feature a hayride, maze, farm animals, a bounce house, carnival games, and food like snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn. Also, from 10am-2pm, the kids can get a photo with Peter Cottontail by the old tractor for an extra charge. For further details, you can visit Mother Nature's Farm.
Last, but not least,
City Center or City North in North Phoenix: On April 17th from 10am-2pm, Easter egg hunts will take place at the April Farmers Market at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm. Each hunt contains candy and gift cards for kids up to 10 years old. Afterward, your kids can get photos with Easter Bunny to remember their visit. Check out CityCenter of CityNorth for more info.
I love events like these that bring families and communities together. They are such fun places to take your kids and grandkids and have a blast as a family!
Happy Easter, everyone! Don't forget to leave carrots for the Easter Bunny (or better yet chocolate)!
