How About A Foreclosure?
Earlier this year I received a phone call from a Mom who was helping her daughter with the process of purchasing her first home. Within days we met for our initial buyer consultation. I always feel it is important to get to know who you are planning on working with, to learn what is important to them, how to best proceed and to let them know how I work. All went well and we were off on our home search within days of that meeting.
We went out 3 separate times and looked at 5-6 homes each time. Just enough so Mom and daughter could digest what they saw, discuss and choose their top 3 choices of the day. On the third day out there was no denying that when we walked into the home you see here that this was the one.

Located in the Odenton community that was her top choice this home was a foreclosure and offered at a price below her purchase comfort price. Yes it needed work but most of all it needed someone to love it once again. This buyer and her Mom were the perfect candidates to do that.
The Buyer settled on this home last Monday and was able to purchase her new home for 87% of its list price when other foreclosures in the area were selling for 98% to 102% of they're list price. With a home inspection done BEFORE the offer was submitted, her finances in place and the ease of working with an Annapolis Area Real Estate Agent who knows how to help a buyer purchase a HUD foreclosure, this first time buyer is totally pleased with her purchase.
Welcome to your new home Jennifer.
May you enjoy many years of happiness here.
