Sometimes you just have to take a little time to P.L.A.Y.
I've been trying to write a post every day and so far, knock wood, I've been doing this since December. Now for many of the super prolific bloggers here, this is just peanuts! They do it every day and have been doing so for a lot longer than a few months.
Normally I try to write late in the afternoon for the next day's post. Up around 6, post it, then off to walk. Doesn't always work out that way, though. Last night I sat poised... fingers over the keyboard... ready to write..... NOTHING.... NADA... ZIP!!!
So I decided it was time to take a break. I have all day Saturday to think of something and besides even if I don't ... if I miss a day... the world will still turn.
But-t-t-t- I've been so good for so long. I really want to keep this up. I'm still going to play today and maybe it will shake out the cobwebs for tomorrow's post.
If you're running at a fast pace... if your plate is full ... it's Saturday... take some time to:
P- Put off the things you think you need to do!
L- Let go of the things weighing you down.
A- ActiveRain-Lite.... just for one day. I know it's so easy to be here all day... so much to learn, so many posts to read but take the Lite version today. We'll still be here tomorrow when you come back.
Y-Put some focus on YOU.... I'm not saying to be selfish... just do some things that make YOU happy. That may mean spending time with the family... in the yard.... by yourself... whatever it is, just do it.
