What Brandon & ShaShonna Needed:

Brandon & ShaShonna had a home in Chantilly which they had tried to sell with two Realtors. After seeing our firm on the Discovery Channel they turned to us to sell their home, which we did in under two weeks for $15,000 above list price. We then helped them locate a resale home which we helped them purchase for $10,000 under list price.

We have to thank the Discovery Channel for our experience with DROdio Real Estate, Inc. let us tell you why! The first time we tried to sell our single family home in Chantilly, we had it listed with a traditional Realtor from a large, local firm. Daniel Odio of DROdio Real Estate, Inc. showed the house to a potential buyer client of his at that time he was not yet representing us. When he came in, we recognized him from seeing him on an episode of the Discovery channels Double Agents show.Daniel’s clients were not interested (they bought a different house), and in fact, we were unable to sell our house at all. At the end of our three month listing period we ended our relationship with the listing agent, and we remembered having seen Daniel come by, and having seen him on the TV show. So, we called him up to see if he might be able to do a better job selling our house than the other agent did.The first thing Daniel did was take a detailed look at our house. He suggested many changes which we had not considered, and the other listing agent never recommended. Daniel gave us a list of things to change and update in the house before he listed it. We spent several thousand dollars making the necessary repairs, but when we finished, and Daniel listed the house, we had several offers within a couple of days!

We are both technology professionals, and we really benefited from Daniel’s ability to send us contracts, addendums and notices via email. He even had a fax program that allowed him to send faxes which arrived in our email inboxes. We were also able to correspond with him via Instant Messenger – I bet most Realtors don’t even know what IM stands for!

With Daniel’s expertise, we ended up selling our house for $15,000 above our list price a price that was already higher than what the other agent had tried to sell the house for! We were very impressed by Daniel’s ability to recommend cost-effective changes to the house that boosted its appeal to buyers and got us multiple offers. Daniel also negotiated the offers carefully, removing contingencies which we would have never noticed, but that would’ve been harmful to us.

After successfully getting our house under contract, it was time for us to find a new house. Daniel set us up with an email alert system which allowed us to be notified when any new homes in Clifton came on the market. He also did some manual searches of the MLS for us. We looked over the lists he created and picked a handful to visit. We fell in love with one of the homes, but it had several offers, so we didn’t really think that we would be able to get it. We put a last-minute offer in, and to make the offer even more enticing, Daniel had us write a personal letter to the sellers, explaining why the house was so appealing to us. We told the sellers in the letter that their house was exactly what we were looking for, and explained how perfect it was for us. Imagine how happy we were when the sellers accepted our offer! We found out later that the sellers chose our offer over another offer that was $10,000 higher because they connected with us through the letter we sent. I absolutely could not believe what an affect that letter had!

We’ve been telling everyone we know about DROdio Real Estate, Inc. and we were happy to share our experience with others considering using DROdio Real Estate, Inc.. We only worked with Daniel, Sue and Lucy, but I’m sure that all the agents are just as talented as Daniel was, and I highly recommend them.
