It's baseball season again and Green Lake has Little League. My son played on the RUG team (Roosevelt, U-District, GreenLake) team 20 years ago. Today I watched a game with my grandson playing. He'll soon be 14. Hard to believe.

Loren (#22) plays for the Northwest team and today they beat the RUG boys. Loren pitched scoreless two innings of the game and he got on base a few times too.

Twenty years ago I met the parents of two players and have since had 9 transactions with realted members of the family. There is noting quite like enjoying an afternoon in the sun and watching the kids playing their hearts out.

The Little League World Series is one of my favorite events to watch on ESPN. The kids have great fundamentals, a lot of talent, and leave it all out on the field.

John - I enjoy the school aged kids in sports so much more than the pros.

I walked by this game earlier today! The kids looked like they were having a ball. :)

Good morning, Glenn....any activity where children are participating is a great place to network with local families and support the efforts of the kids....I love to watch kids competing.....it's usually a sign of what's to come in the future....some are intense...others just enjoy the game!!

Fun to watch. More fun, in fact than trying to watch the Twins so far this year.

Amy - Thanks for dropping by. I enjoy you green lake blog.

Maria - They do know how to have fun...and it's not about the money.

Barbara - Loren has been playing since he was six. He's not the most athletically proportioned kid but he loves to play any game.

Tony - The Twins seem to be taking the same course as the Mariniers.

Bliz - A sure sign of spring.

How fun.  I am in my "in between" years.  The kids have all flown the coop and no grands yet.  For now I'll just have to "borrow" watching yours.  Great video.

We had our first games on Thursday and there were certainly no short sleeves that day. It was the coldest it had ever been for that day on record at 41 degrees, kids and parents were freezing.

Glen, this looks like such a fun day!  Thanks for sharing with us... We have a local news station that highlights kids (little kids) called pint size sports.  It's adorable and I turn on the new just to watch it!

Play Ball!

Pamela - It is fun. There's another game today. And the sun is out. Doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks, Glen! I enjoy your blog too and read it all the time. It's an interesting window into a world I don't know much about (real estate).

Cheers!
