Kwee: It sounds so lovely, but you didn't mention SNOW. How can anyone live without having to plow through 18 inches of snow to get to work. LOL.

Venice is my home town. I go back there every chance I get. Caspersen Beach, Pop's Sunset Grill, The Crow's Nest, the Jetty... Venice is the best.

Why is Venice having so much rain? We r coming the 12 the of September and afraid it will rain the whole time. Any projections of how long the rain will last?

Hi Ms. Edelen, we are in a hurricane season. It started from June 1 and end on November 30 ...which means it is a raining season. So far Venice has been blessed. Do do have a lot of flooding issue like other places in Florida.
