All agents know how difficult it can be to keep on top of sign problems. Unless you drive past  house every day how do you know if a sign blew off or a post fell down? 

It is nice when neighbors or the homeowner will call you and tell you there's a problem, so you can run over and fix it.

I had a neighbor call me and tell me that my sign fell down on a property. I ran over to fix mine, and 2 doors down there's another house for sale, by another agent, and her sign was in the gutter. It blew right off the post and had leaves on it. It was probably there quite a while. I know the house is still active so I picked up her sign and zip  tied it back to the frame. (The photo at right is not of this agent's sign.)

Then I called and told her about it, and asked about traffic on her listing. She thanked me and told me she hasn't had a showing in months. (Maybe the sign being down contributed to this!). We discussed holding open houses on the same day to capitalize on each other's traffic and we had a good chat. 

I hope activity picks up on both of our houses.

Erica, I like to do the tandem open house, just makes a lot of sense.  The sign thing is a never ending battle for whatever the reasons.

I can tell by the colors that it is a CENTURY 21 sign. I was with them for 5 years.
