My parents lived in this house in the 60's. And started the renovations.First I want to say the pale pink color is not so bad, but is not at all the real color of the original home. I recently have seen newer pics of this house and it is now painted "Hot pink"!!!! and I am apalled at what has happened to it!For this home to be painted any color other than white is horrible even the iron fence has been ripped out,I am in shock! My Mama was responsible for registering this home with the state historical society.It is a wonder that the historical society has not rescended the plaque as it is obvious, the state historical codes have all been ignored. It is a sad day for my family, and thankfully my parents have passed and have not seen this... .If you would care for any additional info on this home, contact me.
