Camellia Society of Potomac Valley Show

When we need a break from real estate, we like to attend flower shows and visit gardens in the region. Brookside Gardens is located in the Wheaton Regional Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. With over 400,000 visitors each year, Brookside Gardens is a popular destination. Check the website www.brooksidegardens.org for the schedule of exhibits and educational programs. The admission is free. On Saturday afternoon, I attended the Daffodil Show.

With our spring weather in Maryland, real estate professionals are finding it more difficult to take time off. Home buyers are anxious to take advantage of the low interest rates and the very attractive home prices. This week, we have over 3,200 homes for sale in Montgomery County. 4% of the inventory is composed of lender owned foreclosures and 17% is short sale pre-foreclosure offerings.
