Nude Sunbathers in Wilmington, NC

I guess the title got your attention!  What do you expect in a real estate blog post?

Dolores and I visited Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC to photograph the flowers and the park. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the turtles were lined up to enjoy the warmth of the sun on this early spring day.  Wilmington is a delightful travel destination and Airlie gardens is a very special place to visit when you are in the area.

We did take lots of flower pictures and enjoyed the blooming camellias. Spring comes earlier in Wilmington than at home in Maryland.

If you have photographs from some of your favorite places, please share them in the comments for this post. Always be alert for sunbathers and those special moments when you need to have a camera in hand.

Roy, I was out showing homes today and we stopped by a pond to see a similar sight! National Golf Club has the most turtles I have seen.

Roy - It really is amazing how the right title will get those comments coming in every time. . .LOL  There is a place in the next county south of Sacramento, which has a nature area loaded with this type of turtles.  I always marvel how they will huddle together and perch on a limb suspended like that into the water.  Great photo!
