Peter & Linda, You have the correct answer.  This went really quick -- I'll have to look for harder questions.

Mexico City shows in several sources as having the most registered taxis with about 80,000 taxis.  If you include the unregistered it is estimated as high as 250,000 taxis.  I did have the impression there were cabs everywhere.

Several sources claimed Lima as the winner - but they did not seem as reliable as the ones listing Mexico City.  Lima probably has about 200,000 cabs.

Mexico City.  Do I win a prize for the second right answer?  I must confess, I looked at the previous comment for the correct answer.  Thanks for making us think a bit.

Gary - Note~ have to get up early to get involved in some competitions. I drove cabs in Canberra (Australia's Capital) in the '60s and we were oversupplied at 70 cabs, so must be relative.

Darn, someone has already gotten the right answer.  I was going to say Mexico City too.  Oh well that is what I get for being late.

Doug, It looks like I forgot to say anything about being first - so it does look like your are a winner.

Larry, I was surprised how early, the comments start.  And it is quite a difference from Canberra.

Don, You are a winner, too. It doesn't matter when you comment - I'm thrilled to have you stop by.
