Fannie Mae Announces 3.5 Percent Buyer Assistance on HomePath® Properties

There are many buyers interested to purchase their home but they do not have the necessary cash for down payment, closing costs, …. Now Fannie Mae is trying to help these buyers with some help on paying their closing costs. Here is an interesting piece of information worth a few minutes of your time:

Fannie Mae Announces 3.5 Percent Buyer Assistance on HomePath® Properties

Fannie Mae wants to help more buyers afford to purchase their new home. They are offering up to 3.5% in closing cost assistance for HomePath® properties beginning April 11 through June 30, 2011.

Thank you for sharing. Our Homepath inventory here locally is about 1/3 of what it was 3-4 months ago. Which is a good thing, right? I was disappointed when Homepath discontinued this incentive at the end of last year. Glad to see it's going on again.
