Kathy - bird's gotta eat! Didn't know there were any birds who were carnivores- interesting!
Barbara- Bon Appetit! as they say... And you're right.. they keep telling us not to miss the most important meal of the day.
Gary- I think I'd turn vegan before eating this!!!LOL
Toni-same here. I've seen them tackle fish about that size... they usually keep dunking it in the water... kind of like marinating it!
Carol- I watched one of them with a fish actually stuck on its beak! It worked a long time then got it off!
Madonna- alas... I think he ate the whole thing!
Kristine- of course he could just be playing with it! yeh sure!
How could we not look with a title like that. Yuk. Just glad I ate a while back. LOL
Quite a catch. I did not know they went for animals that large.
Now that's one way of taking care of the rodent problem Kathy. I thought herons only ate fish though, who knew that rats could be so delectable?
