Look I Staged Myself and the Before Ain't Pretty!
Just like we stage homes in preparation for the market, if you think about it, we stage ourselves every day. We don't just get out of bed and go off into the world right?!
This is the Before, what I look like when I wake in the morning or if you will, the "unstaged" me - not too pretty!
This is the "staged" me - took about an hour (hard to believe, I know!)
Steps taken for this particular staging job:
No major renovations, (no new boobs, nose job or liposuction), I showered (think clean up your home), blew dry my hair, put on makeup (think updating and accessorizing). Next, I put on clothes - nothing new; I used what I had in my closet (think re-purposing furniture your client already has.) Once I shed the unshapely PJ's and robe, you can now see I actually have some "architectural" features just like when I de-clutter and edit out 30% of extraneous furniture when staging a home!
All easy and necessary fixes with a great Return on Investment (ROI) - wouldn't you say?!)
This is the power of makeup and hair, oh, and staging of course!
Another thing to consider when staging is your demographics. Let say I'm going to a business meeting - I would stage myslef like this:
Now apply staging to this room, keeping in mind there were no renovations, the room was cleaned, de-cluttered, accessorized and I only used furniture that the client already had!
I can not take credit for this post - it was my associate, "Thelma's" Idea and she insisted I tell you that you can save 15% by switching to GEICO Elite Staging and Redesign! Call EliteStaging for details and priceing!
And, yes Thelma is our family's live Bearded Dragon and we love her - she's really cool!
