Georgia HUD Home Buyers

HUD continues to have some great incentives available to you if you are an owner occupant buyer.  You can search for Georgia HUD Homes at www.hudhomestore.com.  A couple of incentives are:

  • $100 Down Payment Incentive - this one allows a Georgia HUD Home buyer to only need $100 - yes that is one hundred dollars - to purchase a Georgia HUD Home.  You still must contribute the required Earnest Money which is either $500 or $1000.  Also you are still responsible for the cost of repairs and any amount you bid that is greater than the asking price.  But $100 Down Payment Incentive is huge!!!
  • $1000 Sales Allowance Incentive - Georgia HUD Home buyers can receive a $1000 Sales Allowance towards the purchase of an owner occupant home.  The $1000 Sales Allowance is calculated by the lender and attorney as a part of the closing documents.  Another great incentive!!!

Georgia Selling Brokers and Selling Agents

HUD has added a special incentive for us for selling HUD homes in Georgia effective 4/1/11.  Here are the general guidelines:

  • Homes priced from $25,000 to $75,000 that close within 30 days of contract execution earn a $500 bonus for the Selling Broker
  • Homes priced from $75,001 to $150,000 that close within 30 days of contract execution earn a $750 bonus for the Selling Broker
  • Homes priced at $150,001 and above that close within 30 days of contract execution earn a $1000 bonus for the Selling Broker

So great incentives for Georgia HUD Home buyers and Georgia Selling Brokers and Agents!
