Rainy Wednesday in the white mts

By
Managing Real Estate Broker with Alpine Lakes Real Estate Inc., NHRE# 02863

The snow is nearly gone.

   The ice is nearly out.

A few chunks are still holding on.

A few casualties up on shore.

Winter left behind dead birch, broken limbs and river strewn stumps.

It's not really spring until the dark and dreary days of late winter are over, and the snow is gone. Waiting for the green grass and warmer hikes through hills and valleys of the north country.

Looking for property or buyer broker representation, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire  open any of the icons  or links below. The snow is gone for the next six months but it's a great time to look for next seasons deals - the best inventory comes on market after ski season is over.

Karen, We can find snow in the woods into May most years, Looks like it'll be gone this year a bit early.

Much more typical in your neck of the woods...so to speak.  This is extremely UNCOMMON here!  I wore pink today. I'm bound and determined to "will" springtime to get here!  lol

Karen, I'm sure you brighten a room more than spring flowers.

Steve...With all the snow and the mountains, I am suprised that the rivers are not higher.

Bill  The rivers are pretty darn high, one warm day and I'll be ready for some kayaking.

Steve,

Even if it is the "dreary days of winter" it is still amazing scenery and a wonderful place.

Bill, Loon Mountain is open until this Sunday 4/17/11  -the man-made snow has kept the slopes are well covered, and there is still some snow in the woods.
