Hanging Out at Ceramics Cafe in Abacoa

I took our daughter to Go Van Gogh over the weekend for her birthday.  We've been there several times and the girl's always have a great time so she thought it would be fun to take a few of her friends.  She invited her friends over to the house beforehand for some homemade pizza (that's right - made it myself and it was actually pretty good) and cupcakes.  After all the "Go Van Goghgirl talk" and getting our groove on with the cha-cha slide we headed over to the Abacoa Towne Center where we were graciously met be Diane.

Some of the girls had never been there and Diane helped them pick out a ceramic and colors for paint.  The girls got comfortably settled in at their seats and starting creating some beautiful works of art.  I then realized why the studio is so successful.  One, females (young and older) love to be creative and two, they love to socialize.  It was such a relaxed atmosphere and girls talked non-stop.  It was great!

When we were there we saw a family painting together (including dad assisting), two young ladies bonding and painting together and mothers with their daughters.  It is definitely a great way to spend time with friends and family.
