I see many realtors struggle and blame the market and the recession for all their problems. They must realize that the reason they are struggling is because they are not taking the right actions. They are spending most of their time on activities that can be done by an admin person. If we want to make money and succeed in this business, we must spent most of our time on these three activities:
1 - prospecting for new clients.
2 - following up with our past clients and asking for refferals.
3 - staying on top of our market
Any realtor who does this consistently will definitley succeed. Some might take longer than others because many other factors such as your business style, marketing plan, mental toughness etc. are involved. If you feel you need to fast track the process, don't be afraid to get help from other professionals such as business coaches. They will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals.
