It's true, you can a buy a home with Fannie Mae!

It was recently announced that if you're a buyer interested in "HomePath property" Fannie Mae will help you with up to 3.5% in closing cost assistance.

The guidelines are:

• The initial offer must be submitted on or after April 11, 2011.
• The sale must close on or before June 30, 2011, to be eligible for the incentive.
• Buyers must reside in the home as their primary residence (sales to investors are excluded).

Sure, some buyers may not want what Homepath has available, but it's a good incentive for first time homebuyer's when there is Homepath financing also available with a minimum fico score of 660 with 3% down.
