What Do You Do on Friday?

Around the country to day you'll hear - TGIF, and hip hip hooray, it is FRIDAY....what do you do on Friday? Is it a day for you to rest before a big Real Estate Weekend? Are you planning for a busy weekend of activity?

Friday for me is a day for loose ends, training and personal growth. Friday is where I finish small projects started earlier in the week. Catch up on details of files that need to be finished.

Friday is also a great day to take a moment and look at your business. A long time ago, someone asked me, "do you run your business or does your business run you?". I would much rather run my business, so Friday is the day that I take to plan for the future. I can do a little research on trends on Friday, consider new options to add to my business, analyze what's working for me and what's not.

I also try to tie up loose ends, write my column that is published on Tuesdays, and prepare my weekly newsletter for the following week. When I do not finish, I am punished because I then have to do it on the weekend. I think I'll get it all done today.

Brett, I also try to tie up loose ends on a Friday, maybe get some closure on niggling things. This might be a common trait with real estate people.

I'm all in for updating deals before the weekend and tying up the loose ends of the week. When you work weekends Friday doesn't have the affect it does for those who relax Saturday.
