Well, I know what I am doing tomorrow, Saturday, April 16, 2011. Months back my wife signed the two of us up for the Tulip Pedal down in the Skagit Valley. We did this ride a couple years back and it was fun. The Skagit Valley is probably the single largest tulip growing site in the USA. There are many Dutch growers there and these Skagit Valley tulips end up being sold by the big tulip suppliers from Holland.
I do not know if the tulips are out or not. I know that the daffodils are. But, heck yesterday it snowed so I do not know just what to expect. We will be participating in a 20 mile ride, pretty much on flatlands. All proceeds from the ride go to preventing child injuries in Skagit County, Washington.
