Black Friday

With another black Friday behind us, I'm left wondering how everybody made out. So, what did you get yourself yesterday? To keep this on topic, I'll be more specific....what did you get yourself to help you in real estate yesterday? Laptop, camera, ipod, whatever. I have to admit, I didn't find anything I wanted, but I didn't start shopping until after 2:00. Apparently, the day was already over by that time. 'Twas my first (and last) black Friday. I still don't get the hype. How did everyone else fare?

I went to the health club, worked out, came home, fixed breakfast, and went to the office.

I didn't go near any shopping area; people get sorta crazy around here on black Friday.

I'm also not getting up at 4:00 AM to save 10 bucks on anything. ;-)

I bought rollerblades, which should help me in real estate because, if you read this blog http://activerain.com/blogsview/22325/Accidentally-Rolled-into-a, you'll see how I was trying them out for the first time and I ran into a builder.

I also ordered a new laser all-in-one to replace my HP all-in-one as it's inkjet and I'm sick of refilling the cartridges!! The new ones (we ordered two) were only $99 at Staples, regular price was like $299!!! No shipping fees either!!

I went to Lowe's yesterday, of course. People have called me a Realtor carpenter, (at least I think somebody called me that), because I help prevent my clients from getting nailed and screwed.

I don't shop on Black Friday because the crowds are obnoxious and everyone is a maniac in a hurry! I prefer to get my Christmas shopping done before the holiday season for the same reason. Clerks get crabby and customers are worse!
