Everytime we eat at Clear Springs Restaurant I get mad at myself...For Not Coming Here More Often!!
This place is incredible! I am serious...some of the best seafood San Antonio has to offer!
For the past 25 years, Clear Springs Restaurant has been "proudly serving the best fried catfish, hand breaded onion rings and juicy thick cut steaks to people all over the State of Texas." And...we are lucky enough to have a Clear Springs Restaurant right here in our backyard in Stone Oak & North San Antonio!
We visited Clear Springs Restaurant this week and we definitely dug into some delicious food...We had everything from a Fried Oyster Po'Boy with Fries, to a Grilled Fish & Shrimp Plate with Cole Slaw, to Grilled Fish Tacos with Rice & Beans, to an all out Fried Feast of Coconut Shrimp, Fried Oysters, Fried Catfish & Hushpuppies!!! (There was 4 of us dining by the way!)
And...we washed it all down with a few ice cold beers...which were only 2 bucks each because it was Happy Hour! Clear Springs has Happy Hour Specials such as $2 Domestics, $3 Wells & Half Priced Appetizers from 4-6pm Monday - Saturday!!
And the "comfort-rich western atmosphere" is great too... Plus they have a great big ol' patio out back surrounded by lots of trees...and even a playscape for the kiddos!
I am making myself a promise to come back soon...and often!
