Training For Life / Monopoly! Do you remember when playing with the kids was nightly educational entertainment not felonious perversion?

Do you remember, when playing a game meant thinking not redundant dexterity?

Do you remember, when families ate together and discussed their day?

Do you remember, when after home work and dinner/supper we looked forward to playing as a family "Go Fish" or later "Chutes and Ladders" with the little ones? Then while Mom or Dad tuck in the little ones with a quick story you set up the "Monopoly Board?"

Do you remember, "Monopoly?"

Do you remember the lessons about life taught around and on that "Monopoly Board?"

Like so much in life we learned by osmosis! We simply absorbed the obvious from those that surrounded us, those that we respected the most.

Have you forgotten, the lessons "Monopoly" taught?

Have you forgotten, it's good to own real estate?

Have you forgotten, you have to take a risk to win?

Have you forgotten, that life is a risk, waking up is a role of the dice?

Have you forgotten, life happens?

Have you forgotten, life is competitive not combative?

Have you forgotten, it's good to win?

Have you forgotten, well selected rentals pay?

Have you forgotten, when Land Lords were respected?

Have you forgotten, tenants were valued assets?

Have you forgottenwhen a home your's, your Parent's and Grandparents provided stability and comfort in a chaotic world?

Have you forgotten,  Grandmas' House

Have you forgotten, the security you felt be home during storms.

Have you forgotten, it was the home not your equity that provided all that?

Have you forgotten, that nothing changes if equity temporally abandons you?

Have you forgotten, payments don't change because equity hides?

Have you forgotten, the magic of amortization?

Have you forgotten, equity always returns? Always!

Have you forgotten, how "Monopoly" is played?

Have you forgotten, how to win?

Have you forgotten, the lessons learned at the kitchen table or sitting on the living room floor looking up at your parents?

Do you remember, really? Then go buy a house, a home, a rental, a future.

Hello William --- you've made lots of good points and I still remember when a home was not used as a credit card.

Michael,

I hadn't thought to mention those fools that traded their home for allot of forgotten, broken and discarded toys.

Bill, those that are doing the so called "Strategic Foreclosures" either have forgotten that valuable lesson or have never learned it to begin with.

George,

I thought that was "Strategic Defaulting."

If we'd have had a few "Strategic Foreclosures" back when this thing started before it became PC to to default things may well have been much better for everyone but those defaulters.
