Search Engine Optimization and Really Simple Syndication both Drive Me Crazy!!! i have been trying to learn all that I can about SEO so that I can get my site noticed on the web. There is so much information on AR from very astute and gifted bloggers that my head is spinning. One blogger directed me to a site called WebSiteGrader. I immediately submitted my site with great anticipation. After all, I have been implementing so many great suggestions that I had gleaned from AR-ers. I couldn't wait to see the results. What a let down. Most search engines didn't even have a rating for my site. The dreaded N/A was everywhere. My inbound links (whatever they are) compared to my comparison site was off by thousands. Ugh!
One comment noted on WebSite Grader was that I did not have an RSS which is necessary for search engines to look on my site favorably. After spending the entire day trying to figure out what it is and how to place it on the site, I gave up. However, tomorrow is another day, and I hope to make some progress with a fresh start.
