Instead of a memorial service, a celebration of life will be held on July 9th at the farm, at the First Annual Sustainable Aloha Summer Festival.

The Chinese-Hawaiian farmer and visionary created a lavender wonderland on 13 acres in Kula starting with a single lavender plant in 2001. He passed away in his sleep at home, at the age of 69. Instead of a memorial service, a celebration of life will be held on July 9th at the farm, at the First Annual Sustainable Aloha Summer Festival.
