Are you a member of the Activer Rain Pay It Forward Accountability group?  Do you get confused about the schedule?  I know that I've been confused a time or 2.  Our dear friend, Russel Ray has been so kind as to provide us with a schedule that outlines each of the PIF months and weeks.  Thank you so much Russell!  (This month has FOUR weeks!)

Help for those confused about the
Pay It Forward months and weeks

http://www.russel-ray.comAs soon as Ralph Gorgoglione started the Pay It Forward Group last October, and I offered to do the tracking and tallying, we knew there was going to be confusion about when the months started and ended.

After a little over four months, there's still confusion, so I'm here to tell you exactly how it works:

First, you should know that the ActiveRain week starts at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday. That means that the ActiveRain week ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Sunday. That's basically midnight Sunday night, so if you remember midnight Eastern Time, you'll be okay. http://www.russel-ray.com"What if I'm not in the Eastern Time zone?" you ask. I'm glad you asked, grasshopper. Following are the other time zones equivalent to midnight in the Eastern Time zone:

  • Central Time Zone = 11:00 p.m.
  • Mountain Time Zone = 10:00 p.m.
  • Pacific Time Zone = 9:00 p.m.

If you're in any other time zone, well, you're on your own.

Gotcha!

http://www.russel-ray.comI would not leave you like that.

If you're some place else, you can convert to your time by simply going to the time zone converter. Heck, you can even get a free clock over there for your web site!

Now, about those months....

Question: How many months have 28 days?
Answer: All twelve of them

Unfortunately, some also have 29 days, 30 days, and 31 days....

http://www.russel-ray.comIf you make one of your 10 weekly posts a Pay It Forward post, you shouldn't have any problem, (even if I've made an error above. All those numbers can really mess up one's eyes for the day!). That way you don't really have to worry about months; just worry about getting your one Pay It Forward post done each week. The rest will fall into place.

If you have a problem or a question, let Ralph or me know. We make exceptions because we're more interested in you participating in the Pay It Forward group and helping out in your community wherever you can than being strict rules hounds.

Also remember that there is a 2,500-ActiveRain-points-per-month bribe if you post each week!
