I showed an out of town client around yesterday. His last trip to Crescent City was in the early 60's and he didn't remember much. He is considering a move here from San Diego, so he thought he would come up and check it out.
My client was amazed at how much beauty our area has to offer. He kept saying he thought he was in Yosemite and that the homes here are very affordable compared to Southern California.
I took him on a "three hour tour," just kidding, but we did drive around for about an hour and a half. He was most regretful that his wife didn't come with him and asked me to email every picture I have of Del Norte County to her so she can try to get an idea of the spectacular beauty of Del Norte County.
The river in this picture gets quite high in the Spring, as our county gets anywhere from 70-100 of inches of rain a year. This river, come Spring time, will be busy with kayakers from all over the country who come here to enjoy their sport.
The Smith River is the only undammed river in California and touts some of the best Salmon and Steelhead fishing in the world.
More than half of my escrows that have closed this year have been for clients relocating to Del Norte County. Come take my tour and see why you need to move to Del Norte County, where the Redwoods meet the sea.
No traffic, no smog, nice people, relaxing commute, fishing, surfing, hiking, bird watching, laying on the beach, kayaking, wind surfing, boating, hunting, yachting, rafting...
