Have any of you had success with being a neighborhood expert on point2homes?

I recently took a really large risk and spent some money to become a neighborhood expert. I figured this would help me ten fold.

  1. I will be forced to take the time to set up each neighborhood information page.
  2. I will be back on track to learning the market in these areas.
  3. Sellers will see me through gained exposure of being in front of them.
  4. In turn more hits on my websites.
  5. Each neighborhood costs $20.00
  6. This lasts for 3 month period which is a good time base for getting exposure.
  7. I invite everyone to check this out.... think about it:

    A free website + an $8.00 domain + $20.00 neighborhood + time = Success???

Check out my site and tell me this is not an AMAZING DEAL!!

Nick,

It looks like a pretty good deal.  Did you set the site up yourself?  Or did they?  Are you having success with it?  The money seems right on, and your site looks nice.  Good job.

Hi Nick!  I've been watching your posts and checked out your website.  It looks great!  Like Tino I am curious if you are having success with it.  How's the weather in Boise anyhow?  I haven't been there in a few years - my mom is in Utah and said it snowed there over the weekend, so I'm assuming Boise is cooling down as well?

Nick,

I tried it at one time with no success but every area is different so your results may prove to be much different.  The site looks great.  You may also try to enhance your Windermere Agent site which is also free as well.  Not as a replacement but as an addition as the Windermere Network gets pretty good rankings as well.  Just a thought.  Good Luck.

Nick - just my humble opinion, but I think your time and resources would be better spent in creating your own stand-alone blog platform, or incorporating a wordpress blog into your current website. You could create your own neighborhood forums and have greater longterm control over your content.

Tino- They set the site up and then I modified it.

Pattie- So far I am having success with it. The weather in Boise has been great. It was raining for a few days, but before that we had nothing but great weather!

Joe- I thanks for the input. I had been wondering if I should work on my nickv.mywindermere.com site as well.

Tony- Fortunately, I have already received one lead and my site has only been up for one month!

Rich- You may be correct about wordpress or neighborhood forums, and I plan to do that at some point, but if you notice on the point2homes.com neighborhood search engine there is an expert on the right. That is the added exposure that I am looking to get!

Thank you everyone for your comments! I appreciate it.

Tino- Absolutely not. There is a place to copy and paste, but if you know how to use ActiveRain or Microsoft Word, then you could figure out the site. There is a lot there, so I recommend just setting up the basic site. However, it is very user friendly. I could email you a link to set it up if you would like.
