Butterfly

It is that time of the year when Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, and Sandestin, Florida real estate are visited by butterflies.  We call this one a 'monarch' butterfly.  They are magnificent.  They flutter about from flower to flower, until they finally collapse.  Even in death they remain beautiful.  There were also yellow butterflies, and now we see dark colored butterflies which are either black or purple. Our planet is such a paradise..!

Robert, It's a beautiful shot, I love butterflies, they are a sign for me.  I have butterfly bushes outside to attract them and love to watch them.  Thanks for a gorgeous shot.

I have something of a naturalists appreciation for creatures and plants myself and am glad to see you share my views of the beauty of nature. I will always remember as a child raising a catapillar in jar and then watching him transform from chrysalis to a charming Monarch Butterfly.

Hi Bob! What a great butterfly shot! I've got them in my backyard and they never land long enough for me to catch a photo. They are attracted to a non-flowering tree? I'm working on the tree to get it into shape as the last folks in this house didn't take care of the yard at all and everything was overgrown. Love your black kitty!
