(Almost) Wordless Wednesday - First Attempt at Spring in Seacoast NH

By
Real Estate Agent
Here in the Seacoast, this year the temperatures have struggled to get to, well, you know, Springlike. Since Monday, the thermometer has been locked on 42 degress and the sky has been steel gray and drizzling. But this past Sunday was a bit different, almost encouraging me to take the camera out back and see what I could find.

Sharon - Its just a little, but it seems hopeful. Maybe you can post some photos of your bulbs when they pop!

Rene - You are so right. The color really is exquisite. And if we can get a couple of warm days, the fragrance is unbelievable.

Toni - Thank you. The early bloomers are something we need to add to our planting beds. This time of year is like the waiting period. Next month, everything goes crazy.

Yolanda - Did you get a lot of damage from the storm? Your photos of the tulips were amazing.

Andrea - I know the temps down your way are not much different than up here. Yes, there is just a hint of color in the trees as they begin to bud.

Anna - Thank you. There is a bit of hope in the hyacinths. I'll bet you have some great color to share now from your area.

Roger - Right now I'm willing to take whatever we can get! These hyacinths are like little jewels in an otherwise brown backyard. Hope your week is going well.

Toni - I guess you could say it is a good busy. I have spent a great deal on time helping one of my dear friends in my office with a very unusual listing, which has even included a couple of weeks for us of trashout of a spectacular mansion. Hopefully, I will get back to my stride soon. I certainly have missed my time here on AR. Thanks for checking on me!

Elizabeth - Thank you for coming by. In my note to Toni above, I gave a partial explanation of what has kept me busy. This was an enormous undertaking taht started 4 weeks ago. Then, my friend Mary had surgery two weeks ago, so I have covered for her while trying to keep my own business going. Last week, there were home inspections, septic inspections, gathering offers from the co-brokes and faxing them to the asset managers and meetings with clients. So glad Mary is back and doing fine, but we have spent some of this week catching her up. Real estate...you gotta love it. :)

Good afternoon, John!

Yes, amazingly the tulips 'weathered' that storm very well. We had a few more heavy thunderstorms since, and again they survived.  I'm amazed at their resiliency!

I'm waiting on your new pictures!
