Doesn't it feel like the moment we step out of bed, we hit the ground running?  I know I feel that way pretty often.

If I wasn't busy enough, I decided to explore participation in ActiveRain!  Funny thing though, its like a dual time investment. What the heck does she mean?  Anyone else out there who has gone through the rigors of additional certification like ABR, GRI, CRS...any of them...stress that you MUST leave time for yourself.  I've heard time and time again that one good way to avoid "business slumps" is to dust off past hobbies or interests, revive those worth reviving (because how many of us will take up macrame again) and make them new passions.  When you have passionate interests you can share with friends and clients, its impossible to slump.

Back to the Rain.  I can tell by reading various blogs that many of us whether we know it or not have a passion for writing and photography.  Most of us will never devote the time and energy to write or publish books, but ActiveRain gives us a great opportunity to "write-light", although I've read a lot of deep stuff here.  In addition to writing, photography, cooking, hiking, camping and reading - I used to be crazy about music.  Then I got involved in retail, playing music all day and couldn't wait until end of business to turn the music off and listen to the sounds of silence.  Of course, I also got physically ill thinking of wearing printed t-shirts (from all the freaking folding of the suckers) but that's a different story - blog fodder as my new found ActiveRain bud, Tammy Lankford who coined the term.

So, back to music.  Thanks to the often boring evenings of television and the introduction of YouTube, I rediscovered my love of listening to music and the ease of sharing special videos with people.  I'm really hoping a lot of you will take a few minute out of your busy day and treat yourselves to a listen to this fabulous video.

Of course, this is assuming I can figure out how to imbed it into this blog

I love music as well, and took the time to watch this video - I had no idea at the beginning what song this was - what a great introduction!

Thanks for sharing.

Good morning William, I hope you'll take some time to explore their other videos.  We were introduced to this group by a client in an email one day.  Its kind of a nice "treat" to send as a hello to clients.
