Ever Try a Netbook???...I just got one and I am amazed!!!

I came home the other day about 6:00 and turned on my laptop---at least I tried! It was fried...

I had so many things to do here without going to the office...I decided since I need something for my car too...I would go to PC RIchards and get an ipad.

Well....the ipad is SOOOO expensive and the fact that I have a PC and would have to learn Apple or Mac language and that could take a while, itjust became too much!

So, I found that Samsung has a netbook that is perfect for my needs--it can be used at home (until I get my laptop repaired) it can be used in my car-(wireless) and it is just as easy as my laptop!!!

Not only that I got it for $232.00!!!....with a $100.00 rebate!...and a free Verizon "AirCard" so I can use it when ther is no "wireless" service.

What an amazing little guy!.... and I can do any thing on it that I can do on my PC....

....I Highly recommend it to those of you looking to go for easy and cheap for your car!!!

Hi Paula, I see a lot of agents getting these as well. They're very convenient at meetings to take notes and more than enough to hand paperwork, virtual tours, etc. I'm still trying to decide if I want a netbook or a Android-based tablet.

I have one and love it. It is perfect to take anywhere and I had my tech guy set it up so my netbook talks to my laptop and vice versa so I can go back and forth seamlessly. Yay!!

Who doesn't love to save money. BTW the iPad would not have caused you to learn a new language. I'm a PC all the way and I have an iPad. Getting set up was the most challenging thing.

Laura: I wouldn't wait if you want one--most stores are discounting now to get rid of inventory and this is a crisp, very user friendly little gismo--better in my way of thinking than an ipad becuase youdon't have to re-learn anything.

Bryan: Great suggestions--Meetings are a great place to use them! I find that this is the most PC like and therefore very user friendly..I checked them all out but didn't even look at an Android--let me now if that is better.

Mercedes: I would definitely do a netbook--Samsung is the best one--a little more expensive but there are rebates through Verizon right now so you can get a free air card too..The best!

Martha: That is the only thing I can't do right now because my laptop is fried but as soon as I can get back on I will get it set up that way--or maybe get it set up to my office computer--even better for Docs access. Sounds just terrific.

Ellen: This is it!--this is the best one yet...ipad is 7-8 hundred dollars--this works best in a car. I use it at home right now until i can get my laptop fixed..

Margaret: It may just be PC Richards here but it could be that Verizon offers it because they have a Verizon Kiosk here in PC Richards. It is well worth the checking into it---regularly it was over $300.00

Brian: They are real value--I had to sign a 2 year contract with Verizon to do it and that did not make me very happy. I do enjoy using it though and I highly recommend it for any one looking for an affordable laptop for in-car use!
