The Somerset County Park Commission Environmental Education Center, located at 190 Lord Stirling Road in Basking Ridge, New Jersey is offering monthly science programs for children ages 10 to 13. AWESIM Saturdays will entertain and educate children about science, the environment, and the natural world.
AWESIM Saturdays (Animals, Wetlands, Environmental Science, Imagination, and your Mind) is a unique combination of fun and education through hiking, crafts, and hands-on activities.
AWESIM Saturdays will be presented on one Saturday each month from February to June from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Saturday, April 30 - Alive at the EEC
Saturday, May 14 - Critter Care
Saturday, June 4 - AWESIM Art
Registration for individual programs or the complete series may be done on-line at www.somersetcountyparks.org, in-person at the Environmental Education Center, via mail, or by telephone (if using a credit card) at 908-766-2489. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
