April 20th 2011 - Real Estate Seminar
I headed off to Restaurant Aria in Montreal last night to speak at my first live Real Estate Seminar following a request from the director of Meet Market Adventures, Derek Polcyn.
Never having presented before as speakers, I must say the night was a smashing success! The interactivity of the group present was astonishing. People were taking notes, asking questions, comparing situations they'd lived through, etc. which made for a very dynamic atmosphere. The crowd ranged from people who had never before bought a property, to multiplex owners, to commercial building owners.
As a special guest, I also brought with me Mike Abdullah, mortgage broker for Hypotheca. Mike is incredibly knowledgeable about everything pertaining to financing whether it be for a family residence or a commercial property. All attendees were incredibly priviledged to have him answer questions for them, many of whom stayed much after the end of the seminar.
To those in attendance, I would like to thank you profusely for your questions, time and especially your patience as I realize we threw a lot of information at you! I hope that the information helped and wish you tremendous success in your upcoming endeavors and purchases!
For those of you NOT in attendance, I plan to do it again real soon! I'll be sure to keep you posted!
