Mortgage Girlfriends Mastermind Retreat is scheduled for May 12 and 13, 2011.

The retreat is focused totally on social networking with speakers on Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, Active Rain and the fifth on tying it all together. The nationwide web based Mortgage Girlfriends was founded by Karen Deis four years ago. Karen has hosted several masterminds in Scottsdale, Arizona and one in Florida.

Realtors would find the masterminds very helpful to their businesses as the topics aren't mortgage industry based but more on marketing and building our businesses.  

The event is from 9-5 each day Thursday and Friday, May 12 and 13. The location is the Hyatt Place Chicago/Schaumburg, 1851 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60173. Special room rates reserved by April 29 are $89.

Speakers are: Bliss Sawyer on blogging, Ruth Vogt on Active Rain, Andrea Moore on Twitter and Rebekah Radice on Facebook. Denny Andrews' topic is "Simple Ways to Make Technology Work for you". Ruth Vogt is one of only seven loan originators to become "certified" on Active Rain".

Hi Ruth, We're hoping to fly back Friday evening; the time difference is not as much as it was from Scottsdale. Plus Andrea works at the Y on Saturdays. Haven't been able to find a good price yet though. Looking forward to spending some time with you.  

Hi Myrl, Barbara and Joni, I'll take lots of notes. I haven't learned how to put photos in my posts yet; just have been reading other people's posts, commenting and posting away. I am sure my daughter, Andrea will take lots of photos and post on her personal blog. Ruth Vogt (above AR member) is presenting on AR and my daughter is presenting on Twitter. Andrea and I met Ruth in October last year in Scottsdale and liked her immediately.
