April 21 is the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. At age 85 she is now the oldest British monarch ever to rule. She's served as queen for 59 years - since she was 25 - and will continue to serve until she dies.
April 21, 2011, marks the 175th anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto, the turning point of the Texas Revolution that led to Texas's de facto independence.
Best of all, April 21 is also our 10th wedding anniversary! Ten happy years; they have gone by too fast.
