Friday's Fotos...
Sometimes, the photography gods smile and I get lucky. IMHO, photography boils down to:
10% skill. i.e. knowing which end of the camera points in which direction.
05% subject matter. I, like many of you, have been to places and events we all want to capture. "Click".
15% inspiration. There are times, when inspired, I go to a spacial, timeless place in my mind. Driven by passion and inspiration, I feebly attempt to capture the essence.
The rest is pure unadulterated luck!!! Being at the right place at the right time under the right conditions. There are times when the god's smile on this poor fool and create the perfect setting. Right place, soft pure light, glass end of the camera is pointed in the right direction, nice subject matter... "Click"...
What a great photo and I can't figure out why you have such great flowers when we just had snow this week in Chicago?
If it wasn't for god's grace and luck I would not be able to show any photographs at all :-)
Good morning, Michael. Beautiful photo! And I often feel the same... that much of my photography success is luck!
Michael - That blossom looks so real you can almost reach in there and touch it. I continue to be amazed at the quality digital cameras produce, compared to the cameras of the past.
Gorgeous shot! Who's behind the camera? Your good buddy? Hope you have a splendid Easter, Michael.
Michael, I decided that the luck would be having you behind the camera. Have a wonderful Easter.
Michael, in my case it is luck most of the time for sure!!!! Regardless this is beautiful and I thank you for sharing!
Michael,
Simply gorgeous! A splendid soft perfect photo.
You nailed it.
Happy Earth Day!
Michael: Believe me that was not luck; it was definitely a pro that shot that photo. Thanks for sharing.
Michael, I would love to have Irises like this in my garden. Absolutely beautiful!
This one was definitely more than just a little luck or being in the right place at the right time! GORGEOUS!
Oh wow Michael... Thanks for the flower

That is not luck...It is SKILL
Michael, Great photo, I look foward to your pictures. Thanks for sharing.
I love irises Michael, they remind me of orchids. Thank you for this peak into our future (we are about a month behind you)
I'd say this subject matter deserves at least 15%. The color and details are amazing.
