Over the past two weeks, I have had the pleasure of helping two of my first time home buyer’s purchase lofts in the Historic Eckardt Building at Santee Village in Downtown LA. Located in the fashion district, these buildings sat unappreciated for decades. In 1998, a 10 year-long process to restore and re-adapt into condo/loft living began.
The Eckardt and the Cornell at Santee Village are two of those buildings that were designated as local historic monuments in 2001. The lofts reflect the historic look and feel with industrial windows, concrete floors and columns, high ceilings and open space. You can feel the history as you walk in the door.
The Eckhardt Building is at 50% Sold since its launch this year. I have the inside scoop on the grand opening of the Cornell Building and if you would like further information or an upcoming preview on this “great downtown condo loft living”.
Thanks,
