Bank of America Now It Is Personal to all of you who use Bank of America's on line banking they do not deliver on time and they do not live up to their guarantee. Yes, I scheduled a payment to my storage rental and when you click on the box to pay it premises to deliver at that time. They missed by two days.
The payment cannot be clicked on on the sameday that you want it paid by it takes time to deliver. They give you the date it will be delivered by in a separate box or you can choose a date to have it delivered. The promise is they will deliver by that date or they will pay any late fees. They were late by 2 days I have a late fee.
They first came to me and said they had to talk to someone at the storage facility. I gave them a number and they e-mailed me they were sorry the manager would not wave the late payment fee. I e-mailed them stating I wanted to be reimbursed for the late fee. They responded that they would not do so since the date the check was delivered was outside of my grace period.
WHAT?
There promise is to deliver on or before the date scheduled nothing to do with grace periods from the institution.
They were late on my home payment also. I got a call from the company I owed the money to they let me know they did not get my payment. I filed the same complaint as for the storage unit. They wanted phone number of someone to talk to and they managed settle them down and stated they has sent the check out 3 days prior to when it should have been received. When the company got it they called and let know the check was dated the day I complained not prior to as they had stated. No late fee involved because of the grace period.
The company asked that I pay them direct and not use the Bank of America system of on line payment to avoid any future problems.
This all happened in they same month. The fact that there system does not work and there guarantee does not work I will have to change banks.
