Hi Vegas Bob,  Property taxes just went up to $3.50 per  $1000 of value which is calculated at assessed value less owner-occupant, senior, disabled exemptions.  I understand that rate is lower than many places on the mainland.  Property taxes are about the only tax break we get in Hawaii.

I did not know about your group, I'll look for it. After taking several months off from AR due in part to the drama, I am back and ready to start blogging.
