Happy Easter Everyone! How will you spend your day?

I love Easter. I love the jelly beans, the malted milk-ball Easter Eggs, the official start of being able to wear white shoes (that is a lesson from my small town upbringing), and of course the Easter Bunny.

But I especially love the Rejoicing of the true reason for Easter: Hope and life everlasting.

I plan to start my Easter Sunday at church....the early service. There will be approximately 18,000 people at our Easter Services this year so I am going to hit the first one before it gets really crazy.

Yes....I did say 18,000. How cool is that!

After church we'll head to the dog park so the children can run and romp with other four legged friends - all our kids are four legged by the way.

Then it is off to the MN Twins Baseball Game in an outdoor stadium and sunny 62 degree weather.

FINALLY some sunshine and a temperature above 43. It snowed twice this week so 62 degrees sounds extremely tropical to me.

I'll have breakfast at my daughter's house followed by an Easter Egg Hunt with the grands, then I'll starting cooking Easter Dinner and set showing appointments for Monday's relocation buyers. I love the way I can combine family, job and holiday celebrations.

I love Easter Egg hunts Norma. I still remember them as a kid, the winner always got a really cool prize and I still have one, a necklace of Jesus and I was so thrilled to win it. Create memories with your Grandkids that they will always remember!

Good for you Sharon. I'm a little jealous as I was swamped all week and had many 12-15 hour days and am exhausted too. It's going to be a fun day though so I'm not too bummed. Enjoy your R&R!

Shar- I'm from Houston and I was brought up the same way... white after Easter! Your day sounds absolutely perfect, except a little cool for me. We may head to the beach, then home for dinner. and.... 18,000.... OMG! How long does it take to pass the collection plate?(LOL) Have a great Easter!

So maybe it's a midwest thing Kathy? On the TV show "What Not to Wear" it says we can wear white shoes before Memorial Day. I am assuming before Easter is okay too, ha. They have alot of baskets so the collection doesn't take very long. LOL

Have a wonderful time Janice. It is a sad statement when 62 sounds tropical isn't it.

You too Valerie! The kids are crashed after their romp at the dog park. I could use a nap too but too nice outside to sleep after this horrid winter and cold spring of being cooped inside.
