Many of you have been reading our blog for a long time so you will remember the post where I said that we had a BIG SURPRISE happen in our lives. And I said, no I was not pregnant, LOL! So many of you have asked me when I was going to let you in on this event since I did mention that there was a very important event that we found out about.
We could not announce this blessing that came into our lives until all the parties involved were told in private first and we needed to make sure it was the right time without a bunch of drama.
Now that time has passed, actually it has been a whole year since our announcement was forthcoming.
So here goes....
We found out that Nestor had a daughter that we did not know about. This daughter was created before he ever got married and before his two children were born, just so there are no rumors about that:) In fact, she nor Nestor knew until after she was grown up. She looked us up on the internet. We are quite easy to find on the internet! Especially with Active Rain. She read all about us on our ActiveRain blog and profile and followed our posts until she felt that we would invite her into our lives. After all, for a family of 8 children, what is one more? If we loved the other 8 why would we not love her also? So this is how it started.....
Another good reason for us to be transparent in our writing.... sharing and showing we care.... after all, life is just not about real estate and activerain is just not about real estate. While this is not about a commission check it is about relationships that transcend commissions.
We would like to introduce our beautiful daughter to you, our friends, our family, our neighbors and clients. Her mother raised her without ever telling her that her father was Nestor. Nestor did not know anything until last year when we received the phone call from both the mother and his daughter.
She is in the Army. She has served two tours in Iraq. We are SO proud of her accomplishments and her desire to protect our country. After she came back from Iraq the last time she flew out to Orlando to meet us for the first time. Our little guy had a blast meeting another older sister. Most all of our children have now met Blake.
Now it is time for you to meet her too. Enjoy...
