Mark your calendars for October 5-7, 2007 for the 21st Annual North Carolina Seafood Festival.  Great food and fun for the entire familly!!!

                        More Info     http://www.ncseafoodfestival.org/

The whole family will enjoy this three day festival that includes rides, educational exhibits, live entertainment on three stages, and over 150 food and arts and crafts vendors. One of the largest seafood festivals in the world, the North Carolina Seafood Festival offers boatloads of bounty for the discriminating fish lover. Taking place in the coastal North Carolina town of Morehead City, and including the King Neptune Ball and a Softball Tournament, the festival contains an important message as well as a mandate to munch. The obvious highlight of the festival is, however, fish. Visitors can load up on everything from raw oysters to shrimp burgers, and even enter a chowder cook-off. There are various stages with free music over the weekend, ranging from traditional sea music to country. Other events include a pageant, a photo contest and an array of sporting events. On Sunday morning, there is a blessing of the fleet that brings the bounty to shore.

We are new  to the area with a second residence in Ft Lauderdale.  The seafood festival was the first event i have had the time to take my family to and unfortunately our day was ruined when our car was towed by A and M towing.  Apparently either the seafood festival or Security Services of America authorized this even though we were not parked in an area that was marked "no parking"  dozens of others were towed as well.

This has left a very sour taste in my families mouth concerning Moorehead City and North Carolina in general.

Just thought I would let  you know.
