Home made BBQ rub

By
Real Estate Agent 0488515

BBQ rub can be quite expensive. This is a great home made version that is very good and cost effective.

If you wish you can easily cut this in half.

 1 cup brown sugar

½ cup salt

½ cup celery salt

½ cut paprika

¼ cup garlic powder

½ cup black pepper

2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Thoroughly mix with a large wood spoon. For a longer and best shelf life store in an air tight container.

Hi Richard - I made a glaze for a ham that had similar items.  I used maple syrup to "glue" it altogether.  Thanks for the recipe.

Hi Richard! Great recipe! Just told my husband about it. WE have everythign except the celery salt. Looks like I'm on the way to the store tomorrow!

I’ll have to show this to my other half. He and I both love barbecue, but he doesn’t really make barbecue. He just cooks some meat and we pour barbecue sauce from a bottle on it.

Richard,  so easy to make and it sounds delicious.  I will definitely try this this weekend.  Thanks.
