An Easter Success!

By
Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities 303302

Saturday, 5 other agents from my office and myself held an Easter Egg hunt in our subdivision. Because of the economy the yearly neighborhood event had been cancelled. Well, with just 2 weeks to plan the event, we jumped in to see if we could make this happen, and we did!

It was a great success! We had about 150 kids in age from 3 to 10 show up with their parents for the hunt. We collected everyone together and had 3 seperate age groups hunt about 20 minutes apart. We had chalk for drawing in the parking lot, bubbles, Hula Hoops, and Frisbees. The whole thing was over in about 1 1/2 hours. It was soooo much fun!

For pictures of the event, go to www.photobucket.com/prudential. Watching the kids all have fun and being able to talk to so many parents was exhausting but fun. My kids are college age, so I had forgotten the whole Easter Egg hunt thing. Next year we hope to do even better!

Hope you all had a great Easter!

What a wonderful event you held for your community! Congratulations on a huge success.  Our hunts were all rained out this year.

That is great and sounds like it was a lot of fun.  Great idea for everyone to pitch in to make it happen so all the kids can continue their community tradition.

Nice of you to get with other realtors and put on he community event. You should do a "press release" just to promote realtors as good Joes.

Way to go Peter, what an awesome way to give back to your community. We helped with one at our church as well that was kind of last minute.  Glad we both had kids show up. ~Bonnie - The Home Inspectors Wife ~
