There’s a new study out that shows it’s a good time to buy real estate. According to a newly released study by Spending and Saving Tracker from American Express, there is more than 41% of Americans who believe that it’s a really good time to buy real estate. However, 61% from the study believe that a seller’s market is close at hand.
More Findings From the Study:
* Confidence from homeowner’s opinions is evenly split when it comes to the belief of their home's asking price and getting what they ask for. Forty-three percent say they are very confident that they will get asking price, while 47% are not sure or confident of receiving their asking price.
* Nearly 40% of homeowners in the study are not willing to settle for less than the original asking price, even with the tough real estate market. Thirty-eight percent are not sure what they would do and 23% say they will be willing to lower their asking price.
* Forty-four percent of homeowners say that because of the current market, they would be willing to include appliances and some requested furnishings, while 28% say they would consider making repairs or giving an allotment for repairs when requested.
