For years residents of Sun City Huntley enjoyed their wonderful community restaurant, The Walleye Grill. In the fall of last year The Walleye Grill closed its doors due to financial challenges. Since then residents have been anxiously awaiting a new restaurant to open in its place within the 94,000 square-foot Prairie Lodge. Earlier this month residents were thrilled to welcome the brand new Jameson’s restaurant to the community. Jameson’s boasts a beautifully updated interior and a fabulous new menu.
Jameson’s prides itself on its hardy hand-cut steaks, fall off the bone ribs, made from scratch soups, freshly baked bread and friendly staff. There are 8 unique half-pound burgers to choose from such as the Crispy Onion Burger topper with cheddar cheese and crispy onion strings served with soup, cole slaw, pickle and fries for $7.95. On the lighter side there are 5 salad options and 11 sandwiches. Then of course there are hand-cut steaks, chops and ribs, pasta dishes, seafood entrees and a collection of 11 Jameson specials. A hearty 12 oz. ribeye with soup or salad and choice of potato, rice or vegetable comes in at a reasonable $19.95. Wash it all down with a wide variety of wines by the glass or a daily drink special and finish it all off with a fabulous desert.
Jameson’s offers lunch, dinner and a Sunday brunch. Hours are Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 9pm, Friday - Saturday 11:30am - 10pm, Sunday 10am - 8pm (with Sunday Brunch offered from 10am - 2pm. At this time, reservations are available for Sunday Brunch only.
