I'm READY for ANOTHER Android Tablet, Mr. DeMille!

By
Property Manager with Gibson Management Group, Ltd.

Yes, Android is the FASTEST growing mobile platform and I waited 3 months for my 4G Sprint EVO smartphone * Sprint contract and availability issues * and NOW, I'm ready for my NEXT ANDROID tablet.

I took delivery of a my NEW Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 tablet today....I had to wait almost a week and so I REALLY want it to SNOW so I can spend an ENTIRE SNOW DAY playing with it.

I've had an Acer tablet and a Toshiba Thrive and this GALAXY is the best of both worlds with WIRELESS.

I left the Sprint store and went directly to Best Buy for a case and a screen protector.  For an additional $10, Best Buy Geeks put on the screen protector and so now I CAN DO IT MYSELF  * for my tablet and EVO smartyphone.

I'm READY for my NEWEST Android Galaxy Tab 2 tablet, Mr. DeMille!

But things have changed. The numbers for January to March this year, show that Android is now the most desirable operating system at 31 percent, pipping Apple's 30 percent. The Blackberry is down to 11 percent, and 20 percent say they don't know what they want.

And when it comes to recent purchases, twice as many people are opting for Android as are choolsing the Apple iOS.

I wanted a USB so that I can actually get information into the tablet EASIER than having to SYNC with iTunes.

The android platform will probably get much more popular as more manufacturers jump in the market.  And I will just follow Wallace where ever she leads!

The Android Acer I just got from Best Buy was less than $500 so if I can obtain a client or rent a property using it, I am GOOD!

Im very glad Android is growing quickly, they still have ALOT of catching up to do. It appears Apple still dominates the mobile devices market with such an incredible number of spectacular apps

My other half has a 27-year-old policy against anything by Apple, unless it’s by THE APPLE that owns The Beatles’ music.

Hi Wallace - I too consider a usb port as one of the must haves on a tablet.  How big is the Acer tablet?  I also want a 10 inch tablet.  so many of the android tablets are 7 inch.

I recently switched from Blackberry to Android (Samsung Galaxy Smartphone).   I am still on a Learning Curve with this Android platform - there are things I like, and things I am not so sure about!

I just got an Android tablet a few months ago and I can't wait to fully utilize it. Attempting to learn how to use it in day to day operations and what apps are must haves. I'd love if AR University would do a webinar/series on it.

Wallace -- It snowed here yesterday and today and I am trying to learn how to use my Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet. I chose the Android platform specifically because I have an Android smartphone.

A couple of weeks ago I was out walking land and running Google Maps. I was able to see individual trees and clearings with the GPS moving the map around. I got the WiFi version and carry a hotspot with me for the 3G connection to Verizon.

Once I start to learn what I am doing with my synchronization, it will be out-of-the park awesome.
