Ok, Pat - I have a (silly) question.  Did you take the picture or did you get it off the internet?  While I understand it is just tomatoes, I think it's beautiful. ;)

Pat,

You brought up a great topic, one of my favorite things to do when I have time and the weather is good: visit farmer's markets.  Being a vegetarian there is nothing that interests me but fresh local fruit and your tomatoes look delicious; juicy sweet cherry tomatoes.

Pat, I love going to farmer's markets.  To me they are just delightfully colorful, interesting and lively.  So, double WOO-HOO for May and the return of farmer's markets!  :-)

Pat, I love farmer's markets and always try to shop locally.  Great reminder.  As to the return of the Farmer's market, well, never mind, I'll just get a hate email from you when I tell you we have them year round here.  OOPS - there I go, letting my pesky fingers do the work, LOL.

But, I do have to tell you - there is ABSOLUTELY nothing better than midwest grown tomatoes and the sweet corn - nothing compares to it here in the desert - that's for sure.

Pat, the local farmers markets are wonderful options for local communities when it comes to fresh produce.  I have always wanted to come down to Traders Point some Saturday morning but just have never gotten around to it!

Pat - I love a Farmer's Market and we have one every Saturday 2 blocks from my home from May until late August. If we are home on the weekend, it's our ritual to take our dog Lucy out for a walk and get some local fresh produce - love it and don't buy any from a grocery store during the summer months! I also say - wooo-hoo!
